I hope you all enjoyed the video! If only one person picks up the game and enjoys themselves then I will be glad I made it!

  2. Sorry but SWTOR's player housing is mediocre at best. It has nothing compared to the likes of SWG and (more recently) ESO

  3. If they update the engine, and make the gameplay more challenging – it may resurrect it.
I mean, it looked outdated the year it came out…

  4. Man i remember how excited i was when i was waiting for this game to come out. Couldn't wait to play it. Instantly joined in , never stopped having fun until i reached max level. Even then i thought the game is fine. But then they started ruining the game, removed skill trees, completely deleted world pvp because of people "getting their feelings hurt" , and when they finally stated they will only be focusing on story content i was out. Fun game to level up but nothing more. Don't even know if people remember how fun ilum was especially when big organized guilds clashed there.

  5. sw OOOH tor … ugh. Did you call TOR, OOH TOR? It's SW (like the sw sound in sweep) and TOR (like tore), so it would sound like swittor more than it would swOOOOHtor, you horrible person.

  6. why the hell would you EVER pronounce SWTOR !??!?! Just say the old republic like a normal person…

  7. Yes it's worth playing. So much more to do these days, plenty of content, active guilds, still enjoy playing it.

  8. Well a kot has changed since this vid, they been butting in alot of work with this pandemic going on.

  9. I’d love to see you take each topic and make individual videos going in-depth for about 30min. I think it would make for a great SWTOR series!

  10. Oh man this is a game that I can honestly say is the game ive poured the most hours into over the years, more than WOW or Star Wars Galaxies. I tracked its development and played day one. I took breaks in between updates for short times, but it wasnt until updates were becoming scarce and all my other friends were dropping that I started taking issue. There is some bad and some things I really wish were different, but for the most part if you have not checked this game out you really should. The best story lines Id say are the Sith Warrior, Jedi Guardian, and Imperial Agent story lines. KOTFO was also really cool.

  11. My problem is how i had pre-ordered the game when it originally came out, left the game for a couple years, and my entire account was wiped with no trace. I thought, well if i could just make another account it would be alright, but it wont even let me make an account.

  12. 6:30 The UI is HIGHLY customizable. More than I've seen in other MMOs without using add-ons. Regarding DOT tracking, 1) the UI editor does allow you to highlight YOUR DOTS and have them grouped at the bottom / top of a target's debuff bar. 2) if you're going to play a DOT spec, then you are going to want to download and run Starparse (http://ixparse.com/).

    Why starparse?
    1) The damage parsing will help you fine tune your rotation.
    2) The built in timers for boss fights.
    3) The ability to create your own timers that you can monitor with overlays.
    4) It is NOT an add-on and does not violate the EULA. (Note: you will need to turn on combat logging in the game to use Starparse.)

A quick note and reminder for the UI, you can save different interfaces for different classes, group sizes, etc. I have interfaces for 4-man groups, 8-man OPS, 16-man OPS, and before I decided that healing was not my thing, I had UIs setup specifically for healing with extra large health bars and action bars arrange around them.

  13. Honestly, SWTOR is the only MMO that has been able to keep my attention (other than may gateway MMO Runescape). I have been playing on and off since launch and I've tried WoW, Black Desert and Tera to name a few. Bioware definitely landed a hit for the MMO to me and I love the story. I'm a story driven player, even with my insane love for PVP. There are problems with the game of course, but there are also problems with everything in life. Bugs, small community, etc. But aside from those, I've enjoyed each time I come back to it and unlike the other games, SWTOR retains a place on my harddrive during the haituses and I even run a story over again if I want to just experience one. If and when this game finally sunsets, I'll be truly sad about it. I haven't encountered a game that I've genuinely enjoyed playing like Swtor in a while.

  14. As a person that has gotten every single achivment in kuat yard, he is right lol, last boss arghhhhhhhg, and it being random, arghhhhggg it will take you forever to max out the achievements

  15. I can relate to pretty much everything said. One of my biggest gripes with it, was how the companions switched out in Fallen Empire. It was like you spent all that time gaining influence and unlocking the conversation angles of companions, even up to the point of being in a romance with some of them if you chose, then that just got pulled out from under you. Having new companions is fine, in fact it would have been a complete PRO, if you got new ones and were able to hold onto your originals as well. It's not like your ship isn't big enough to have in. I know you get some of them back, and those moments were pretty cool, but still it was pretty irritating.

I check back with the game once in awhile to see if they have added more of them, or if they have returned to telling individual class story arc like they did at launch. That being the largest point I got disappointed with. I loved how every class had a different story line, and you could take each one in different directions. When Fallen Empire came out, and every class becomes the outlander and has the same plot, it becomes dull pretty quick as regards replaying the content with different classes. Which is a real shame. I agree though, I am glad I got to play it.

  16. I played the game a long time as Subscriber but because i wasn't at home for a year i had to let my subscription run out and in Knights of the Eternal Throne i was a F2P Gamer and noticed that the Game is nearly a complete different one. My Main Character had Millions of Credits but because of the "You can have only 200.000 Credits by yourself and the money in the bank doesn't count" System i couldn't even buy the best stuff for my Character. Also the Level of the Equipment stopped 3 Levels before maximum. I played Knights of the Eternal Throne until the end but i didn't enjoyed the game anymore.
TThat was 3 years ago. Can an active player tell me if F2P players are still as disadvantaged as they were then?

  17. I've been thinking about getting back into SWTOR after playing it back when it came out. If you still play the game, it'd be cool if you came back to the channel and put some more work in. I really enjoyed this video, and was super disappointed to see only three videos.

  18. Got into it again after 7 years. Put 300 hrs into it in 3 weeks. Loving the game. And with the upcoming expansion im super excited.
